ACSP hosts a legislative breakfast annually at the SC Statehouse regardless of whether there are bills threatening our industry/profession. We believe that staying in touch with our representatives is important and that this consistent open communication with them will help protect our industry and your license.
If you have a concern you can contact your local representative and let them know how you feel. Visit the SC Statehouse Website where you can obtain phone numbers and addresses for your representative. Not sure who your representative is? Click Here
All current laws and policies relating to the SC Board of Cosmetology can be found here.
On a National Level the Professional Beauty Association also serves as an industry watchdog. You can find out more about what is happening throughout the country at their website.
Please be aware of any local mask ordinance when attending class as things are changing rapidly!
