Dear Educator,

I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out with an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of education at Association of Cosmetology Salon Professionals (ACSP). We believe that your creativity and expertise can help us shape a dynamic and inspiring class for licensees!

Your knowledge and experience are invaluable in crafting classes that not only educate but also inspire and empower licensees. We are looking for an innovative class idea that can:

● Ignite Passion: Capture the interest of licensees and encourage a love for learning.

● Foster Innovation: Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.

● Build Skills: Equip licensees with the practical skills and knowledge they need for the future.

● Inspire Change: Motivate licensees to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

We are inviting you to submit a proposal for a new 2 hour class. This class should reflect:

● Cutting-Edge Topics: Address emerging trends and current issues in your field.

● Interdisciplinary Approaches: Combine knowledge from different disciplines to provide a holistic learning experience.

● Engaging Methods: Utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to create an interactive and engaging classroom environment.

● Real-World Applications: Link theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios to enhance licensees careers.

Please share your class idea by completing the attached proposal form and submitting it by the DEADLINE of June 30, 2024. The proposal should include:

● Class Title and Description

● Learning Objectives

● Teaching Outline 

● Materials Needed for the Class

● Potential Guest Speakers or Collaborations (if applicable)

● While we highly appreciate your submission, there is a possibility that not all proposed classes will be chosen for the upcoming term. This decision does not reflect on the quality or potential of your idea but rather on the current class requirements and strategic priorities.

● Even if your proposal is not selected this term, it will be kept on file for future consideration. We believe that every idea has potential, and there may be opportunities in subsequent terms where your class could play a pivotal role.

● Class selections will take place from July 1-7, 2024. You will be notified by email the week of July 8, 2024 if your class is chosen.

● If your class proposal is selected, you will be required to teach this class at either the August 18 or February 23 Education days to fellow Education Committee members. 

● After teaching in August or February, a specific date(s) and location will be assigned for you to teach your class at a fall 2025 event for licensees.

We are excited about the possibility of integrating your visionary idea into our education committee and look forward to seeing the incredible concepts you come up with. Your contribution is key to maintaining the high standards of education at ACSP and preparing our licensees to meet the challenges of the future.
